654 thousand visitors to Ras Al Khaimah in the first half, with a growth of 6%

Ras Al Khaimah recorded during the first half of this year 2025, 6% growth in the number of visitors and tourists, an increase of 9% in tourism revenues, and 36% in the revenues of meeting tourism, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and wedding parties.
The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority confirmed strong results, during the first half of this year, as it recorded a new record in the numbers of tourists and visitors, exceeding 654 thousand visitors with an annual growth of 6%, and an increase in tourism revenues by 9%.
The fastest growth destinationsRaki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah for Tourism Development, said: Our achievements during the first half of the year reflect the strength of the tourism sector in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the effectiveness of its strategic vision. Tourist destinations are growing worldwide.
He added: The emirate continues to move steadily towards achieving sustainable and long -term value of its economy, society and visitors, thanks to its ambitious vision aimed at attracting more than 3.5 million visitors annually by 2030.
The results reflect the success of the body’s continuous efforts to expand the scope of air linking, enhance the attractiveness of Ras Al Khaimah as a tourist destination and increase its presence in the main regional and global markets.
Major marketsThe main markets witnessed a distinguished performance, as the increase in the number of visitors coming from India reached 25% on an annual basis, while the increase in the number of visitors from the United Kingdom reached 5% and China 9.2% and from Russia more than 7%, so that Ras Al Khaimah witnesses the highest number of visitors in a period of six months ever. In addition, the emirate recorded a great leap in the number of visitors from Romania (more than 65%), Poland (more than 56%), Uzbekistan (more than 47%) and Belarus (more than 30%), thanks to the expansion of the direct air linking of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, which is a pivotal factor in the growth of expatriate tourism.
The revenues of meeting tourism, incentives, exhibitions, conferences and wedding parties have also achieved 36%growth, driven by luxury wedding parties, international conferences and incentive trips, as well as strategic initiatives that contributed to consolidating the position of Ras Al Khaimah as an upward center for events and incentives tourism.
Air connectionRas Al -Khaimah International Airport witnessed a great expansion in the scope of direct flights with the start of flights from Katovichi, Aarsu (Poland) airports, Boustrest (Romania), Moscow (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Brag (the Czech Republic) directly to Ras Al Khaimah, which formed a pivotal factor in increasing the number of visitors. This expansion is supported by the current strategic plan for the airport to enhance its ability to receive larger planes and improve the arrival experience, which enhances its position as a major gateway to the emirate.
New hotelsDuring the first half of the year, the emirate announced the establishment of a new collection of luxury hotels, and includes the Ras Al -Khaimah Island Island (which includes 156 rooms), and Vermont Al -Marjan Island (250 rooms), and the Wellington Miz Marjan (336 hotel apartments) and a resort and resort and Four Seasons Ras Al Khaimah in the Arab Port (150 rooms). Strategic partnershipsThe first half of 2025 witnessed the signing of a series of important partnerships to support the development of the tourist destination and expand its presence in the global markets. These partnerships included cooperation with the Fujairah Adventure Center, which was announced during the International Adventure Tourism Conference in April, and aims to shed light on the tourist ingredients for the two faces and present a joint tourism program for adventure lovers.
Exceptional eventsRas Al Khaimah continued to enrich her agenda from prominent sporting events during the first half of 2025, based on her awareness of the role of major events in enhancing the attractiveness of the destination and improving the quality of life.
The emirate hosted the eighteenth edition of the “Half of the Ras Al Khaimah Marathon” with the participation of more than 10,000 counts and fans, and the “Emirates Tawaf”, which returned again in its mountainous stages on top of Mount Jais, and the fourth edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Championship in the global golf tour “DP World Tour” at Al Hamra Golf Club. The Haylander Global Agency for Mountain Walking in its fourth version returned, polarizing participants from all over the world, in addition to the “Jess Ride” race for the first bicycle of its kind, which spanned 25 km, as the contestants challenged the rise of the highest summit in the UAE, so that these activities contribute to enhancing the position of Ras Al Khaimah as a pioneering regional center for sports and entertainment.
