8 creators at the Boys Forum for Arabic Poetry

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture in Sharjah, the capital of Benin Kotono witnessed the activities of the Fourth Arab Poetry Forum, with the participation of eight creators.
Arab poetry forums in Africa come in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which seeks to support and spread the Arabic language and enhance the presence of Arabic poetry in Africa and a station to highlight the talents of eloquent Arabic poetry and a bridge for communication, within a comprehensive vision that promotes Arab culture and devotes its role in human building.
The forum was attended by Ahmed Saif Al Mazrouei, Deputy Ambassador of the UAE in Benin and Raja Al -Wakeel, Egypt’s ambassador, parliamentarian, Kulaouli Uglon, and from Benin: Dr. Abdul Hamid Ahao Shit Thani, representative of charitable societies and Dr. Abdel -Wathir Shti, Director of the Institute of Arabic Language and Islamic Culture at Abu Toumi University.
He presented to the forum Ibrahim Aghboun, President of the Cooperation Association for Social Development, expressing his thanks for the distinguished Sharjah cultural role and said in his speech: “Arab poetry began to recover and develop industry and creativity thanks to the patronage of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for this authentic art in the state of Benin, as well as strengthening its presence strongly and Sharjah has been for decades for the support of the Arabic language and the Arabic poetry industry in Africa, and the honor of poets and the people of specialization in this field.”
Ogon added that this forum represents an active platform to enhance cultural communication between peoples and consolidate the position of poetry as a civilized bridge that deepens the bonds of brotherhood and enrichs the Arab and African literary scene together.
He also stressed that the forum opens its doors to the participation of creative women and gives them the opportunity to show the energies of perception, creativity and beauty industry, indicating that the forum is available to everyone, to express their poetic voices and contribute to enriching the cultural scene.
Aghib reads from a poem in which he praised the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
The poets participating in the forum gave poems to touch the meanings and reality of life.
